INVESTIGATION OF THE EFFECT OF ELASTIC DEFORMATIONS OF THE WING MODEL OF A WIDE-BODY COMMERCIAL TRANSPORT AIRCRAFT ON ITS AERODYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS

ABSTRACT
Based on the numerical solutions of the Navier-Stokes equations, a calculation study of the influence of the wing deformation caused by the effect of the aerodynamic load on the characteristics of a model of a wide-body commercial transport aircraft was carried out. The calculated data were compared with the results of measurements performed in a wind tunnel. It is shown that the technique used provides good agreement with the results of experimental measurements.
