ABSTRACT

A numerical model is proposed in order to describe the plasma column and its interaction with a composite material in the anodic configuration. After a validation step with experimental results from the literature, the model is used to quantify the degradation of the composite electrode by varying the impulsion time and the current intensity value. The flux components are given and the importance of the Joule effect on the composite material degradation is shown.
