ABSTRACT

The method of intravital morphology of fish erythrocytes using vital stains has been developed. For the nuclei staining fluorochrome SYBR Green 1 was used. The photos of erythrocytes in thick drop were made; pictures were analyzed by the ImageJ 1.44p software. Obtained values of length of the large and small axes of nuclei and cells were averaged and compared with values, measured on the blood smears stained according to the Pappenheim method. Differences did not exceed 2%.
