ABSTRACT
The review deals with data on the chemical properties of parabens, main paths of their entering into the water bodies and transformation in hydroecosystems. Besides, hydrochemical methods of parabens detecting in the aquatic environment, their effects on the aquatic organisms of different trophic levels, as well as ability to accumulate in the organisms are presented.
