The Activities of Enzymes of the Main Pathways of Carbohydrates Oxidation in Fish Tissues

It is stated that activities of glycolysis and the Krebs cycle in the tissues of Black Sea thermophilic fish species rise at the seasonal periods of the annual cycle when the vital activity as a whole increases. The pentose phosphate pathway is more active in wintering. It is shown based on our original and literature data that correlations exist between glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, lactate and succinate dehydrogenase activities in the liver, red and white muscles, and the natural mobility offish species.
