Homeostasis in Fishes as an Instrument for Assessment of Critical Loads on Hydroecosystem of Small Rivers

O. O. Bedunkova
National University of Water and Nature Management, Rivne, Ukraine

ABSTRACT

Morphometric and cytogenetic homeostasis of fishes in small rivers of the Volyn' Polissya has been evaluated. Functional dependence of morphometric and cytogenetic homeostasis in river sections with different quality of the aquatic environment was stated. Local scale for integral assessment of anthropogenic load on hydroecosystem was suggested.
