ABSTRACT
The freshwater bay was under study for two years. It was observed that zooplankton differs by its species diversity, numbers and biomass in the sections of the bay overgrown with different dominating higher aquatic plants, as well as in the section with the free water surface. The comparisons showed that four rather specific zooplankton complexes were formed, one of which was of 'Rotatoria type' and three other were of 'Cladocera type'.
