Experimental researches on optimization of the two-stage system of green microalgae Dunaliella salina cultivation for production of biomass with elevated content of β-carotene have been carried out. In order to increase the β-carotene content in D. salina cells it is recommended to intensify the illumination 10 times at the deficit of nutrients at the second stage of cultivation.
