ABSTRACT

The genetical structure of groups of the round goby Neogobius melanostomus from the Odessa bay and coastal zone of the Zmeiniy Island (the Black Sea) in terms of loci, encoding β-esterases has been analyzed. Polymorphism and changes of frequency of the alleles, encoding isozymes of esterase-1 and esterase-2 was studied. It was supposed that specimens of two considered habitats belong to different intra-species groups.
