ABSTRACT

The species composition and biomass of phytoplankton of three Suzdal lakes, and also of the Sestroretskiy Razliv reservoir, located within the territory of St.-Petersburg were investigated. Seasonal and long-term succession of algae in response to eutrophication was revealed.
