ABSTRACT

The possibility of embedding digital watermarks (DW) while encoding the digital video by the MPEG-4 standard is considered. To search the possibilities of embedding DW, the methods and parameters of compression/encoding are studied, which distinguish this standard from the previously created standards of the MPEG type. It is assumed to embed DW bits in the parameters of encoding objects forms that are present in video frames.
