ABSTRACT
A new tool for monitoring large-scale plants in the near-Earth space plasma, namely sounding by low-frequency electromagnetic field, is discussed. The developed theoretical grounds and computer modeling results prove a practical applicability of the tool. This is illustrated by a sample sounding system containing a transmitter and receiver with numerically estimated parameters.
