A propagation model is offered for description of the microwave field over the rough sea surface at low grazing angles and in large shadowing on the area below the limit of application of the tangent plane approximation. Analysis is made on the distance dependence of the reradiated field intensity and characteristic coherent and random components for few variants of the sea state and the height of corresponding (transmitting and reception) points. It is shown that for wide grazing angles the results of calculation by the method offered and by the method of tangent plane approximation coincide.

The influence of fluctuations in the turbulent troposphere upon the interferometer measurement accuracy of radio wave angles of arrival is analyzed as applied to the problem of estimating the refraction properties of the troposphere. A mathematical model of the interferometer has been developed to analyze its characteristics by the Monte-Carlo method. It is shown that phase front fluctuations of the wave incident upon the interferometer antennas are quite tolerable to allow estimating the angle of arrival with an accuracy sufficient for calculating the integral gradient of the refractive index along the path even in the case of a strongly turbulent troposphere deviation ΔN =10 N-unit).

The issue of modeling the operation processes of information analytical systems as regards technical information protection for selection of its rational construction option is discussed. The main mathematical tools proposed for simulation modeling are elements of the theory of categories and modified Petri algebraic networks. The basic substance of network modification is described, and main modeling stages are presented.

Non-resonant nondestructive technique has been described for investigation of high-temperature superconductive and relative materials through the measurement of the microwave reflection at grazing incidence. As authors discussed earlier, a reflection coefficient of the electromagnetic wave at grazing incidence can be used to determine an absolute complex conductivity over a wide temperature and frequency range. As of now the experimental measurement setup was realized in millimeter wave range using waveguide phase bridge based approach. The conductivity of ΥBa2Cu3O7−δ film was measured at temperatures higher than critical.

two-barrier magnetic tunnel junctions
Giant magnetoresistance of two-barrier magnetic tunnel junctions has been investigated theoretically. The two-barrier magnetic tunnel junctions are investigated within the two-band model of spin-polarized electrons in ferromagnetic electrodes. It is shown that the tunnel magnetoresistance of the two-barrier magnetic tunnel junctions can reach 100 %.

Disappearance of a drifting domain in devices on the basis of graded gap semiconductors has been studied. It has been shown that the length of drift region of the domain and the frequency of the generated current oscillations in the n+-n-n+ -devices on the basis of graded gap semiconductors depends on the voltage applied to the device. The conditions of existence of this effect have been found. It has been shown that usage of graded gap semiconductors allows increasing width of the working range of frequencies of Gunn diodes. The review of A3B5 graded gap semiconductors having the similar effect has been performed.

An anisotropic photonic crystal with an arbitrary-directed anisotropy axis is considered. The dependence of the reflection coefficients on the incidence angle of a plane harmonic wave on the plane-parallel slab is studied. The resonant characteristics in the incidence angle plane are obtained. It is offered to use them as formers of optical radiation patterns.
