The longitudinal distribution of the Fresnel field intensity is analyzed for a circular focused aperture with a descending amplitude pattern in the form of a parabola on a pedestal. Analytical relations have been derived and plots are presented which describe dependences of the basic parameters characterizing the longitudinal distribution on the pedestal height and focal length.

field intensity distributions of the oscillations
radiation losses of energy
Results of experimental studying investigation into the spectral and power characteristics, as well as of the field distributions of the forced whispering gallery modes excited in open half-disk dielectric cavity resonators by a local coupling element in the form of a capacitive slot in a metal mirror of the resonator are presented. The results were obtained with the use of a computerized measuring bench. It is shown that the electrodynamic characteristics of the forced dielectric cavity resonators are influenced not only by the energy losses in the coupling element, but also by the radiation losses whose amount is dependent on the excitation conditions of the oscillations.

The problem of acoustic wave scattering by curvilinear rings obtained by revolution of the CSA (Cantor set of arcs) generator with a variable fractal dimension is considered. By applying the integral equations (IE) technique, the 3-D mathematical model is reduced, without loss of rigor, to a 2-D one. The possibility is analyzed to apply the direct method of mechanical cubatures to the case of a parabolic generator of fractal objects. The suggested approach can be generalized without special efforts to an arbitrary stage of the fractal generation.

The present paper describes a novel telecommunication facilities based on the currently available microwave integrated teleradio information system, which, in abbreviated form, will henceforth be referred to as MITRIS. This technique is intended for transferring digital data in the range of 11.7−12.5 GHz (in particular , it is likewise destined for distributing TV programs and internet-wide services). The above system is operative using the combined (two-level) modulations, specifically, the primary one is related to quadrature-amplitude keying, the secondary is frequency-dependent.

The condition of achieving the allowed facility-protection level against attacks via information networks is formulated. Logical-and-probabilistic models for estimating the information network facility protection conditioned by irreversible, invariant, causal relations between all information-protection functions are developed.

recursive convolutional codes; Syndrome decoding; Interleaver; Concatenated coding
An analysis expression for computation of a syndrome sequence of a systematic recursive convolutional code has been produced. A method for decomposition of localized syndromes for determining distorted elements in a code sequence of a turbo code, which makes it possible to develop an approach to synthesis of optimal syndrome decoders both with a "hard" and "soft" solution of turbo codes with component systematic recursive convolutional codes, has been proposed.

The review of the results obtained in the department of biophysics of A. Usikov Institute for Radiophysics and Electronics of NAS of Ukraine by means of an original differential dielectrometer to solve molecular biophysics problems is represented. The main attention is given to demonstration of possibilities of the method for studying of dielectric parameters, which characterize interaction of biomolecules of different levels of complexity with the aqueous solvent, in the millimeter wave band. The results of the corresponding measurements for a large set of monomeric and polymeric nucleic acids of different types as well as for proteins are given. The differential dielectrometer has been shown to be the most effective for studying small changes in the biomolecule-solvent interaction when these changes are caused by action of external factors (heating, ionizing radiation, formation of complexes with active substances, etc.). The absorption of microwave radiation by biomolecules has been found to be very low. It can not determine a biological effect of this radiation. In biomolecule solutions the main component, which interacts with microwaves, is water in the Debye dispersion range.

hyperthermia. The Galerkin method
Based on the self-consistent statement a solution has been found to the problem on EM wave radiation into a homogeneous medium using a system of combined slotted waveguide radiators in wide wall of a rectangular waveguide. A study has been made of the spatial distribution in a half-infinite material medium whose electrophysical properties match those of certain types of human tissue.
