The design principles and characteristics of the low-voltage distributed matrix-field-array microwave amplifiers with transverse interaction are considered. It is shown that the developed lead may lead to the construction of a new generation of the mean-power microwave devices for radiolocation and telecommunication systems of centimeter and millimeter range.

The manufacturing technique of the YBaCuO-system films with the help of the laser is described. The results of the research of the influence of the substrate's materials on the superconducting parameters of the film are given. The technology of the production of passive microwave devices based on film structures is described. The results of the research of the resonators, band-pass filters and low-pass filters based on high-temperature superconductive (HTSC) films and monocrystals are given.

General problems of microwave monolithic integrated circuits (MIC) and devices' creation, their features and ratings are discussed. The special criteria for the design of microwave devices are considered. The concrete examples of MIC are presented. The prospects for this line of investigation are examined, in particular the production of millimeter range devices.

The possibilities of the use of the secondary emission discharge (multipactor) for the electron beams' generation and microwave signals' amplification are considered. A new prospective class of vacuum microwave devices based on this principle is presented. Its features and performances are analyzed.

Methods, algorithms, block diagram and circuitry of the multi-functional hybrid opto-electronic processor for the space-time processing of the complicated radio signals are developed. The processor provides the panoramic radar scanning in conjunction with the multi-unit receiving system. The adaptive rejection of the disturbing spatial signals down to 20-25 dB, time processing of the complex radio signals (spectrum and correlation analysis, demodulation, structure's determination) and diagnosis of the receiving system's technical state are also provided. The full-scale test of the pilot sample of such a processor for the land-based telemetring complex was carried out.

A computer model of the microwave power limiter, using the switching PIN-diode and rectifier diode loosely connected with main transmission line, is developed. The role of the interaction between the diodes is shown. The sample of a waveguide limiter with upgraded input power in 7...8 GHz frequency band is offered.

The structure of the adaptive algorithm of the detection (AAD) for Gaussian statistics of observations and parametric ambiguity relative to noise is proven. It is shown that the mismatch between the incoming observations and the adaptive algorithm's parameters decreases during the parametric adaptation. It is determined that the vector of the filter's weight factors (VWF) for the detecting algorithm, synthesized by the maximum likelihood method, and VWF of the AAD filter, calculated from Wiener-Hopf's equation, are the same for the stationary mode. The AAD filter includes the adaptive adjuster of the expected signal apart from the adaptive "whitening" structure.

Disk antenna array as an element of wide-band antennas with wide-angle two-dimensional electric scanning is considered. A method for the approximate calculations of the directional characteristics of the disk antennas is considered. The method is based on the formerly developed theory of the ring concentric antenna arrays.
