The review of papers on the automatic control theory, which were published during recent 10-15 years by researchers of the Cybernetic Center of the National Academy of sciences of Ukraine, is given. This review includes publications on the analysis and the synthesis of control systems of linear and nonlinear objects both with lumped and distributed parameters. We also focused attention on identification problems for controlled objects under presence of limited excitations (noises), as well as game problems of control.

The paper has dealt with the control problem of solving a linear system of differential equations with boundary conditions. In physical sense it can be considered as a control problem of deformations of an elastic beam, a rod or other similar one-dimensional object. The set of all terminal controls has been constructed in the presence of boundary conditions for systems of the differential equations.

The problem of optimal control with constraints on the state for a quasilinear operator equation of the elliptical type is considered. Behavior of such problem while ε → θ is investigated on the assumption that all the components of its mathematical description depend upon some small parameter ε. The mathematical model of the boundary-value problem of the optimal control is identified and its variational properties are investigated too.

A problem of the dynamics control of distributed parameters system whose state function is to be brought to some positions fixed in time is solved. Discretely distributed external dynamic disturbances, as well as the initial and boundary conditions are considered as control factors. The gradient procedure of optimization of a space-time placement of controls is proposed. An example is given.

We consider the problem of the vector synthesis of discrete sets on the example of the synthesis of active conflicting media. For solving this problem we propose the method of synthesis of the tree of structures. The essence of the suggested method consists in the property that on every iteration we realize first of all the synthesis of the most promising variants of solutions. Estimation of Coefficients in Systems of Regression Models

A problem of coefficient estimation in a system of regression models is considered. In the studied system, observation errors of output variables of the modelled object are statistically interdependent and output variables can be determined, generally speaking, by different regressor sets. It is demonstrated, that the fact of statistical interdependence can be used for more accurate restoring values of object outputs, which are not observed. A quality functional of regression equation system, which is a multidimensional analogue of J-optimality of regression model, is introduced. An iterative calculation scheme for coefficients of a regression model system, which minimize the introduced functional, is suggested.
