We propose the Newton method modifications. Under certain conditions, they ensure the higher rate of convergence in comparison with the Newton method. We consider the analogues of these methods for realization on parallel computing devices. We construct the effective methods for solution of the nonlinear equations which arise while solving a nonlinear least squares problem.

While recognizing images, we suggest integral and differential criteria for estimation of indications self-descriptiveness. It enables us to form the optimal (with respect to the processing speed, the reliability for decision-making, the level of paralleling, the invariance under affine transformations and other parameters) indication systems. This system is destined for a construction of high-performance algorithms for processing of the image recognition on a real time basis.

We propose the new method of improving systems with a non-equidistant structure (for example, a multiple-unit array antenna with the low level of side lobes) as to their reliability characteristics, speed, positional precision and resolving abilities. The method is based on a combinatorial combinations such as the difference cyclic sets and "ideal cyclic bonds". The method enables to design system with the less number of elements. It saves or improves the resolving ability and other important characteristics.

We use one of non traditional codes and suggest the unique for all operations system of the rules which, particularly, does not demand to change the number signs at multiplication and division.

We analyze the rank transformations aiming improvement of the local contrasts and image detail. We show the rank transformation defects on the example of the well-known approach to the image transforms with the element classification by the object contrast. We propose the modification of the moving weighted rank image transforms which ensures the rise of the local contrast for both "convex" and "concave" objects and uses the new definition of element contrast. We consider the outlooks of development of the moving weighted rank transforms.

We consider the dynamical system which models man's walk with a prosthetic leg. We have constructed the algorithm for solution of the problem of modeling and optimization of controlled motions of biotechnical systems for two types of an thigh prosthesis: with the wisco-elastic elements and with a hydro-damper in the knee mechanism. We give the results of numerical simulation.

We consider the algorithm of the statistical global optimization based upon the Rastrigin cone method, and also the general strategy of search of the global minimum of multiextremal functions and functions with ravines. Particularly, weattend to the choice problem of optimization parameters. We propose the criteria and procedure of the search step adaptation for an objective function with narrow ravines. As an example, we have considered the test tasks.
The Minimization Technique for Boolean Functions

We consider the new minimization technique for Boolean functions of many variables in so called conjuncterm field which is formed by a set of the in advance specified values of conjunctive terms of all ranks. The technique is based on the following: it compares the numerical values of the given function with the numbers of this field. The algorithm demands the less number of operations comparatively with the traditional one. There are two versions of its application: the manual one which uses (the pattern of) the function and the computer one which uses matrices of the conjuncterm of a function of n variables. One can apply the proposed rule also for minimizing of a system of Boolean functions.

We discuss the problem of the exposure of functional dependences between the parameters of a solar cycle. We give the parameter model of the cyclicity and the mathematical formulation of the problem of estimation of its parameters. These developments are realized on the Zurich time series of the Wolf numbers in the form generalizing the Schwabe-Wolf law and Waldmeier statistical regularities. We emphasize the possibility of the use of the obtained results in the approximations problems and long-term prognosis of the average monthly values of the Wolf numbers in view of their micro- and macrostructure.

We propose the diacoptical approach to mathematical modeling of the carbon circulation in the biosphere which allows for a specific character of course of biochemical processes in a variety of regions of the planet. We have substantiated the possibility of the photoacoustic effect use for construction of adaptive photoacoustic sensor which makes estimate of the degree of water pollution by mineral oils. We cite the recommendations which use some control processes for realization of the sensor.
