Résumé

Analysis is performed for the condition of low-flow reflooding heat transfer that may exist in reactor cores. At the region below the quench front, superficial velocities of phases are calculated from mass and energy balances with a drift flux correlation. At the quench front, the heat release due to the motion of quench front is considered. At the region above the quench front, a dispersed droplet flow heat transfer analysis is applied.
Data from single tube tests are compared with the result of the present analysis. Empirical correlation is established for the wall heat transfer augmentation due to droplet-to-wall interaction near the quench front. Satisfactory agreement is observed between the analysis and the data.
