Résumé

The flow structures in the incompressible and compressible mixing layers are examined. In particular, the change in the structure as a function of the obliqueness angle with respect to the shear plane is investigated. The study employs linear stability analysis and direct numerical simulation (DNS) to highlight the effect of the obliqueness angle.
