Résumé

The risks of depletion of fossil fuel reserves and nvironmental problems caused by their consumption causes to consider alternative energy solutions. Hydrogen appears as a serious solution because its combustion produces only water. The objective of this study is to digitally analyze the effect of operating conditions on the process of absorption of hydrogen in a tank of metal hydride alloy Lanthanum - Nickel (LaNi 5). For this modeling of heat transfer and mass in the tank was carried. The results of numerical weather prediction are in good agreement with the experimental results
