RÉSUMÉ

A direct numerical simulation (DNS) of a wall jet is performed at Re = 7500. The heat transfer process is studied with an iso-thermal boundary condition at the wall. The molecular Prandtl number is Pr = 2.0. The scaling parameters for the flow and heat transfer variables are investigated. The mean streamwise velocity and mean temperature profiles show collapse with outer scaling parameters. The heat transfer away from the wall to the outer flow is dependent on the wall-normal turbulent heat flux 〈ν'T〉.
