RÉSUMÉ

Numerous experimental investigations of convective heat transfer in cross flow around oval tubes, united in a staggered bundle, were carried out. The Re criterion was varied in the range from 2000 to 30,000. The influence of the tube-bundle geometry parameters and flow characteristics on heat transfer was determined. Experimental data were generalized by using dimensionless criteria.
