MAXIMUM PRINCIPLE FOR PRESSURE IN IDEAL INCOMPRESSIBLE FLUID FLOWS

RÉSUMÉ

Plane steady flows of ideal incompressible fluid are studied based on the analysis of the full Euler equations. Both potential and vortex flows are considered. It is shown that in the absence of internal stagnation points in the domain considered the maximum and minimum pressure values are located at the domain's boundary.
