Coupled Heat Transfer Modeling in Composite (metal/ceramic) Particle Immersed in a Plasma Pool. Part II: Phase Change
RÉSUMÉ
This work deals with numerical simulations based on a computational heat transfer model for spherical mechano-fused composite particles plasma sprayed. Results describe heat transfer in mono and two layers iron/alumina particles immersed in an uniform infinite plasma. The heat transfer modeling focuses on a single particle which gives information on the phase change which occurs in the case of multi-particles injection under low loading conditions. Time dependent behaviours interacting with phase change occurrence and taking into account the contact quality between both layers are considered.
