RÉSUMÉ

The paper presents an analysis of the experimental data for maximum heat transport capacity, thermal resistance, and heat transfer coefficients in the evaporation area of aluminum profile thermosyphons intended for use in photovoltaic-thermal solar collectors. Research was conducted for the thermosyphons with outer diameters of 8, 10, and 14 mm; tilt angles changed within the range 5°−90° and the temperatures changed from 20°C up to 80°C. The analysis of the experimental data showed that the best design of aluminum profile thermosyphon is the one having a diameter of 10 mm. The mentioned profile thermosyphon provides transfer of heat flux over 150 W and has thermal resistance less than 0.04 K/W at PVT angles more than 10°.
