Boundary Conditions for Equations of Mass, Pulse, and Energy Transfer in Polydisperse Turbulent Gas-Droplet Flow
RÉSUMÉ
A rigorous and consistent method describing the boundary conditions on a wall for the equations of conservation of droplet mass, momentum, and energy has been developed for a turbulent polydisperse two-phase flow. It is assumed that each fraction consists of two ensembles of droplets (moving to the wall and from it, respectively). The parameters of these two ensembles are related by the empirical relationships obtained earlier for an elementary event of droplet collision. The Favre and temporal averaging of the droplet parameters are considered as well as various approximations of droplet distributions over the transverse velocities. The closed systems of equations are obtained for all the parameters of both ensembles. The corresponding algorithm is described and exemplified.
