RÉSUMÉ
The paper presents a full second-order model of turbulence in which the dissipation rate functions in the equations for Reynolds stresses and heat flux are determined from the solution of transport equations for these variables. Particular attention is given to the approximation of all terms in the equations for the dissipation rate functions. The experimental data and direct simulation results of unsteady Navier-Stokes and energy equations are used to determine the empirical coefficients in approximate expressions.
