RÉSUMÉ
The toxic effect of high NH+4 concentrations (1, 5, 25 mg N/dm3) on physiological parameters of carp was investigated. It was stated that under the effect of these concentrations liver and kidney indexes practically did not change, spleen index increased. Total hemoglobin and its not-functional form methemoglobin concentration in carp's blood increased. Under the chronic impact of ammonia nitrogen its content in fish muscular tissue was relatively low.
