RÉSUMÉ
The paper deals with microbiological investigation of the Amur River estuary pollution by polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons discharged into the Amur estuary with the river runoff and affect the intensity of the coastal water areas self-purification. Peculiarities of biodegradation of naphthalene, phenanthrene and their transformation products (salicylate, pyrocatechol) under co-oxidation with autochtonous organic matters, which are synthesized by complex biocenosis in shallow water, have been considered.
