RÉSUMÉ
The activity of nitrate reductase was determined in unialgal cultures of 29 species of microalgae of various divisions. A direct relationship was established between the activity of nitrate reductase and the content of nitrate in the water. Nitrate reductase activity in the studied algae can be indicative of the contribution of these plants to the process of nitrate transformation.
MOTS CLÉS: microalgae, unialgal cultures, nitrate reductase, activity of the enzyme, inorganic nitrogen
