RÉSUMÉ
An analysis of the problems, of search for signals in a multichannel system with one searching unit is carried out using the methods of the theory of semi-Markovian processes. The unit detects and recognizes the signal searched for but does not hold it and passes it for holding to the tracking unit on duty. An optimal strategy of movement of the search signal in the multichannel system is developed and a respective estimate of detection efficiency is obtained.
