RÉSUMÉ

The possibility of the purposeful application of the pressure pulse on a part of the free surface of liquid for redistribution of energy between oscillation modes is considered. A mathematical model of the process was constructed. The potential of application of the mechanism for dynamic suppression of oscillations is discussed.
