A MODEL FOR THE TURBULENT COEFFICIENT EXCHANGE FROM EXPERIMENTAL SPECTRA

RÉSUMÉ

This article combines numerical and analytical tools to derive a model for the vertical eddy diffusivity coefficient for a stable planetary boundary layer. It is based on a classic relationship and uses turbulence measurements taken in the south of Brazil in the Pampa region. The framework of Monin-Obukhov similarity theory and local similarity theory is used, and the resulting model is compared with the model derived from experimental measurements taken in Minnesota.
