RÉSUMÉ
Composite solid propellants were studied in order to obtain optimized propellant with good properties and processibility required for base bleed applications. HTPB propellant with Ammonium Perchlorate oxidizer ratio from 70 up to 80 percent loading is selected after thermo-dynamical calculations. This paper describes the mechanical and ballistic properties of the optimized propellant and the importance of each parameter.
