RÉSUMÉ

The present article is devoted to visualization of fast nonstationary phenomena in turbulent vortex ring cores. The videos presented in the article demonstrate the different types of eigen-oscillations of "free" vortex rings, as well as the dynamics of large-scale circular vortices in the subsonic jet. Moreover, visualization of the interaction of a vortex ring with rigid bodies (circular cylinder and flat screen), where eigen-oscillations are excited, is presented. These results enable the creation of new mathematical models of the phenomena where large-scale vortices play a significant role. In addition, these results are important for the validation of developed aeroacoustic theory.
