Estimating the Attenuation Factor in Guiding Structures with Fractal Properties of the Boundaries

RÉSUMÉ

Results of integro-differential modeling of losses in wave guiding structures with fractal properties are presented. The analysis is based on a fractal description of the guiding surface. The model suggested for evaluating losses in guiding structures employs α-characteristics to describe surfaces with any given fractal dimensionality. The results obtained for o-characteristics are consistent with the classical data.
