ANALYSIS OF REFRACTION PROPERTIES OF THE TROPOSPHERE USING A RADIO INTERFEROMETER

RÉSUMÉ

The results of the six-month cycle of measurements of the refraction factor gradient of the troposphere that were taken during the winter to the summer period are presented. The results are based on measurements of the angle of arrival taken using a radio interferometer that receives radio signals from the geostationary Earth satellite Asiasat 3S. Analysis has been performed and the results obtained have been confirmed. Some phenomena that occur in the troposphere and result in abnormally large values of the refraction factor gradient that we observed during measurements have been investigated.
