Potentialities of a High Energy Transfer through Metal-Dielectric Waveguides in the Terahertz-Frequency Band

RÉSUMÉ

The paper presents the comparative analysis of various metal-dielectric waveguides (MDW) regarding the power attenuation and ability of removing the heat caused by the microwave energy loss, as well as, the electric strength. The possibility to transfer through MDW a MW continuous microwave power in the terahertz frequency range is shown.
