Effect of the Parameters of Approximating Step-Functions on the Characteristics of the Output Quasisinusoidal Signal of a Digital Analog Generator
RÉSUMÉ
In the design and construction of digital analog generators of quasisinusoidal signals, one often needs to solve the important problem of how to choose the parameters of approximating step-functions and of certain generator units so as to obtain the output signal with the prescribed values of the harmonic coefficient and of mean square deviation between the output signal and the sine curve. In the present paper we consider how different methods for calculating the harmonic coefficient and the mean square deviation between the output signal and the sine curve form the parameters of the step-function approximating the sine curve. We estimate the error in the harmonic coefficient caused by quantization and compare the calculation results for these quantities in cases of different approximating step-functions.
