MEASUREMENT OF DIELECTRIC MATERIAL PROPERTIES USING COUPLED BICONICAL RESONATORS

RÉSUMÉ

Coupled biconical resonators are under consideration. The results of study of the problem of application of such resonators in microwave measurements, in particular for measuring and monitoring parameters of solid and liquid dielectrics are presented. The advantage of technique proposed is application of resonance frequency of empty resonator as reference one and replacement of Q−factor determination by measurements of the ratio of amplitudes of maxima of frequency transmission coefficient.
