SINOPSIS
The dynamic method for stagnation pressure distribution profile measurement in a high temperature free fluid flow using a flying Pitot-probe is described in the paper. An uncooled Pitot tube, directly connected to the pressure transducer, is fixed on the pendulum. During the rapid flight of the probe across the flame, the whole stagnation pressure profile is recorded. The method is checked in a free circular turbulent air-jet at room temperature and in oxyacetylene jet-flame at temperature about 3300 K.
