Sinopsis

Three-dimensional simultaneous measurements of many flowing microbubbles and velocity field surrounding the bubbles in a turbulent pipe flow are performed by micro-digital holographic velocimetry. The microbubbles positions and many particles surrounding the bubble can be reconstructed by a digital hologram. This technique successfully applies to the three-dimensional dynamics of many air microbubbles in a turbulent pipe flow. The velocity of the microbubbles and flow surrounding the microbubble is simultaneously obtained.
