This work is an experimental investigation of the hydrodynamics and the transfer mechanisms of Wavy Taylor Vortex (WV) flows with and without an axial imposed flow. A new technique of synchronization of the Velocimetry Images Particles (PIV) technique and the polarography (Electro-diffusion) technique is proposed. It allows the determination instantaneously of the vortices properties and their interaction with the wall.
