Sinopsis

In this work we present a parameterization for the transport processes in a shear driven atmospheric boundary layer employing turbulent statistical quantities measured during the north wind phenomenon in southern Brazil. This parameterization is applied to an analytical solution of the advection-diffusion equation, which is obtained using spectral method and integral transforms. Numerical results and comparison with the experimental data of Prairie-Grass are presented.
