SINOPSIS
This paper deals with the building of Reduced Order Models (ROMs). Their objectives are to accurately compute a pair of steady velocity field and transient temperature field around and inside a circular pipe in a crossflow. The range of Reynolds numbers goes from 2 000 to 4 000 and the pipe core temperature is imposed and time dependent. The levels of velocity and temperatures allows us to assume a loose coupling between the momentum and energy equations. Each ROM is a set of a limited number of equations, allowing the computation of the velocity and temperature fields to be almost instant on a standard processor.
