This short paper presents the final set of equations for the k-ε model of turbulence in the framework of continuous adjoint optimization, aiming at the improved numerical performance of the optimization simulations. The full derivation of the equations, as well as the related discussion about the behaviour of different terms in the derived adjoint equations, is given in the extended version of this paper. The implementation into a general-purpose finite volume fluid flow solver is also discussed, together with the results from several generic test cases.
