SINOPSIS
Porous media is of importance in most technical applications such as catalytic reactors, packed bed absorbers and adsorbers. The process taking place in above mentioned applications are widely non-isothermal. So, the temperature distribution and/or the effective thermal conductivity of the bed in porous media is subjected to many investigations (1-4).
