Sinopsis

The formal knowledge structures of a diagnostics expert system, such as MAX, and hypertext systems are a suitable means of documenting strongly inter-referential technical knowledge about complex applications, such as fault diagnostics for electrotechnical equipment. This combination is of great practical use and has proved vastly superior to paper-based media for the documentation of technical subject matter.
