Sinopsis

Trip reduction plant analyzer workstation is becoming increasingly useful for nuclear power plants. This paper outlines scope, and capability of workstation being developed for 1270 MWe 2-loop PWR as trip reduction plant analyzer. This workstation is capable of validating plant scram due to presently known single failures. In addition, it will be used to evaluate plant response to other single failures suspected to scram the plant.
