RT Journal Article ID 788116dc7ddd4849 A1 Vovk, A. A. A1 Demeshchuk, L. I. T1 Applied Geodynamics of Explosions JF International Journal of Fluid Mechanics Research JO FMR YR 1996 FD 1996-04-01 VO 23 IS 1-2 SP 116 OP 121 AB The deformation of compressible materials is analyzed. Relationships are established between the variation in the bulk deformation of soil and the distance to and the depth of insertion of axially-symmetrical charges. Results of practical application to problems of the geohydrodynamics of explosion in developing of efficient technologies for performing mining and earth-moving operations and their implementation in civil and water-reclamation construction and in other fields are presented.
